BEACON - Retired Air Force Col.
Victor E Nelson, 81, of 1 Vail Ave.,
died Thursday at the Castle Point
Veterans Medical Center.
A resident of Beacon for many
years, Mr. Nelson was born i Brook-
lyn on Dec. 16, 1897, the son of Nels V.
and Ida Lndquist Nelson. He was
married to the former Helen T. Klan-
nka, who survives.
Mr. Nelson served with the Air
Force in World War I and in the South
Pacific during World War II.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Nelson
is survived by several cousins.
There will be no calling hours.
Private services are scheduled for
today at the Halvey Funeral Home,
24 Willor St., Beacon.
Burial will be in Evergreen Ceme-
tery, Brooklyn.
