June 20, 1974 Section I --9 Obituaries Lavinia Ness Mrs. Lavinia Ness, 06, nee Nelson, formerly of Arlington Height*, died Monday in Sunset Manor Nursing Home, Woodstock, where she had been a resident for many years. She was born in Chicago, March 5,1888. Visitation Is today in J. L. Poole Funeral Home, 25 W. Palatine Rd., Palatine, from 1 to 4 p.m., with a funeral service to bo held at 3 p.m. Officiating will bo the Rev. Theodore A. Brncm of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palatine. Burial will be In Concordla Cemetery, Forest Park. Preceded In death by her husband, Frank, and four brothers, Albert, Fred, Robert and Oscar Nelson, survivors In. I elude a slstcr-ln-law, Mrs. Marguerite I f (the late Oscar) Nelson; many nieces -* ' and nephews.
